Not essential, but no guarantee of a ride without booking.
As a volunteer-run chapter, we operate scheduled ride sessions to ensure we have appropriate volunteer coverage and safe operations.
We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Book Here!
Our initial routes include:
• Raby Bay Harbour
Future routes may include:

Stay tuned!
All routes are carefully assessed for:

• Parking availability
• Toilets and shelter
As we grow, we hope to expand to additional Redlands Coast locations.
All rides are free of charge.
Cycling Without Age – Redlands Coast is a volunteer-run, community-funded initiative operating under the governance of
Cycling Without Age Australia Incorporated.
While rides are provided at no cost, donations are always welcome to help keep the wheels turning.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday. Starting at 9:30am and concluding at 12:00pm.
Ride sessions are generally booked in 30 minute blocks, allowing approximately 20-25 minutes of ride time.
Shorter rides are absolutely fine — our volunteers are flexible.
No — passengers are not required to wear helmets during our rides.
Under current Queensland regulations and the operating arrangements of governed Cycling Without Age chapters, passengers on our trishaws are not legally required to wear a helmet.
However, passengers are very welcome to bring and wear their own helmet if they feel more comfortable doing so.
All volunteer pilots are required to wear approved cycling helmets at all times while operating the trishaw.
Passenger safety is always our highest priority, and rides are conducted at a gentle pace on carefully assessed routes.
Our rides are primarily designed for:
• Older people
• People living with reduced mobility
• Individuals experiencing social isolation
• Community members with cognitive or health-related challenges
• Carers and family members
To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask that all passengers be accompanied by a carer, friend, or family member. A single companion is welcome to support multiple passengers—and they can even ride alongside us on their own bike or join their loved one as a passenger on the trishaw!
Not yet. Our current fleet does not include a dedicated wheelchair-accessible trishaw. However, we are actively seeking funding to expand our fleet and increase accessibility in the future.
